B1289 GMC Description

  The radio can control the video display brightness on vehicles equipped with Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) video. The radio varies a Pulse With Modulated (PWM) signal to the rear entertainment video screen to command the screen brightness to the desired level. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set when the radio detects a short to voltage, short to ground, or an open/high resistance in the video display brightness control circuit 400 ms after the radio activates the remote enable circuit.
