B1313 MERCURY Description

  The Body Control Module (BCM) fuse supplies power for the interior courtesy lamps (and the running board lamps if equipped). When the BCM receives the required input (such as an open door or request from the instrument panel dimmer switch), it provides voltage to the interior courtesy lamps. This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when the BCM detects a short to ground or open from the courtesy lighting output circuit.
