B1596 LINCOLN Description
Some Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) cannot be detected by the ABS module until the ignition switch is cycled from ON to OFF and back to ON again. When DTCs are cleared using the scan tool, the ignition switch needs to be cycled in order to clear this DTC and have the ABS module check for other DTCs.
