B1942 LINCOLN Description

The voltage at the terminal is set by Air Bag Diagnostic Monitor to be slightly less than the battery voltage. This circuit is connected to the circuit inside the left front impact sensor. The voltage at the circuit and diagnostic monitor should be the same as the voltage at the diagnostic monitor circuit. The air bag diagnostic monitor periodically pulls voltage low to verify the connection to the terminal. If the voltage at circuit does not pull low as a result of the test, the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1941 will be stored in memory and AIR BAG warning light will flash. If the condition is repaired or corrected, DTC B1941 will be stored in memory.
