B1E72 RAM Description
Once the 115 Volt A/C Power Outlet switch is pressed, a network communication message is sent to the Body Control Module (BCM) to enable the Power Inverter Module. The BCM provides a voltage output to enable the Power Inverter Module. Once the Power Inverter Module is functional, it sends a signal to the BCM indicating that it is ready to function. The BCM then sends out a network communication message requesting illumination of the status indicator on the 115 Volt AC Outlet switch. The OBDII will set if the Body Control Module detects an over current condition on the Inverter Switch Signal circuit.
