B2133 GMC Description

  The memory function switches are normally open and are wired directly to the to the Memory Mirror Module (MMM). When a memory recall switch is pressed, the switch pulls the 5 V signal circuit from the MMM low. The MMM senses that a memory recall signal was pulled low and a class 2 message is sent out to the Memory Seat Module (MSM) identifying that the circuit is active. In response to this message, the MSM performs the requested function. If a memory recall switch circuit is active for more than 30 continuous seconds, the circuit will be considered shorted and the MMM will set this Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
