The Electric Back Light (EBL) also know as Rear Window Defogger (EBL) and A/C status indicators will flash when this Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is active. The status indicators will continue to flash across ignition cycles and battery disconnects. The vehicle line and country code data transmitted on the CAN B Bus must correspond with data stored in the A/C Heater Control to stop the status indicators from flashing. If vehicle line and country code data transmitted on the CAN B Bus doesn’t correspond with data stored in the A/C Heater Control.
