B2471 CADILLAC Description
Interior lights are commanded by Platform Zone Module (PZM) through an output to Courtesy Lights Relay. When courtesy lights relay is energized, the ground is provided for interior lights.
A short to ground will be tested when inadvertent power is active, interior lights output is inactive, and the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1971 is not set as current. A short to the battery will be tested when inadvertent power is active, interior lights output is active, and DTC B1971 is not set as current.
DTC B2471 will set when the commanded state of interior lights does not match the feedback state. When DTC B2471 is set, PZM will continue to command the state requested until IPC revokes request. DTC B2471 will clear when commanded state matches the feedback state.
