B2472 CADILLAC Description

  Low beams are commanded by Platform Zone Module (PZM) through an output to headlight relay. When the output is grounded, headlight input to IPC is also grounded.
A short to ground will be tested when exterior lights power is active, low beam output is inactive, headlight switch is not active, and Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1970 is not set as current. A short to the battery will be tested when exterior lights power is active, low beam output is active, and DTC B1970 is not set as current.
DTC B2472 will set when commanded state of low beams does not match the feedback state. When DTC B2472 is set, PZM will continue to command the state requested until IPC revokes request. DTC B2472 will clear when the commanded state matches the feedback state.
