B2591 LINCOLN Description

  During an open operation, the Power Sliding Door (PSD) Module grounds the unlatch actuator to unlatch the sliding door. The circuit is shared by the unlatch actuator and the detent switch as a ground return to the PSD module. If the PSD module detects a detent signal change on the circuit, the PSD module powers the clutch and motor to open the sliding door. If the PSD module does not detect the detent switch to ground during self test, DTC B2591 sets.
