B25BD RAM Description
The Drivers Door Latch contains two door ajar switches. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) receives the state (open/closed) of each switch over the CAN Bus from the Drivers Door Module (DDM) or Body Control Module (BCM) depending on the vehicles configuration. The PCM continuously monitors the functioning status of the Driver Door Ajar Switch states for the operation of certain features such as Electric Stop/Start (ESS).
