B2607 NISSAN Description
The steering lock relay ON signal is transmitted to the Intelligent Power Distribution Module Engine Room (IPDM E/R) by Body Control Module (BCM) via CAN communication. The IPDM E/R turns the steering lock relay ON and transmits the release of the steering to BCM. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when the BCM detects that there is a difference between the following statuses: BCM request for electronic steering column lock power supply (ON/OFF) and IPDM E/R status of electronic steering column lock power supply (ON/OFF).
