The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) monitors the Driver Information Center (DIC) mode switch and the DIC reset switch in order to perform certain functions. The IPC detects a switch activation when the signal circuit is low. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets if the IPC detects that the reset switch signal circuit is low for greater than 60 seconds.
