The keyless entry control module will detect the keyless entry transmitter when the liftgate unlatch handle is pulled and the transmitter is within 1 meter (3 feet) of the liftgate, the keyless entry control module will send the release enable signal to liftgate control module. This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set as a history code by the Liftgate Control Module when the Liftgate Handle Switch signal circuit is active for greater than 25 seconds
