How do I fix code C2223 SUBARU?

Check the “Possible Causes” listed above. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connectors. Check for damaged components and look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded connector’s pins.

Tech Notes

  • When the low tire pressure warning light illuminates, immediately check the air pressure of all tires and adjust to the specified pressure. After adjusting air pressure, drive the vehicle at 25 mph (40 km/h) or more to start TPM system re-checking of the tire inflation pressures. Warning light should turn off in a few minutes.
  • If the warning light is still on after adjusting tire pressure, check for a damaged tire and repair as necessary. If warning light blinks 25 times and then illuminates, and there is not a tire without a tire pressure sensor installed, there is a malfunction in the TPM system. See appropriate manufacturer service information.

C2223 SUBARU Description

The Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) system checks the tire pressures of all 4 road wheels when the vehicle is driven at speeds above 25 mph (40 km/h), and warns in the event of a loss of pressure by means of a low tire pressure warning light. A sensor installed in each wheel will indicate when tire pressure is severely low. The TPM system will activate only when the vehicle is driven. The Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) Control Module monitors the tire pressure at each wheel. The TPMS Control Module sets the OBDII code when the tire pressure signal is not to factory specifications.
