The more information to be communicated, the more wirings is required. In case of CAN communication type, all the information need to be communicated among control modules such as TCM, ECM and TCCM (Transfer Case Control module) use CAN lines. Engine coolant temperature information is used for lock-up control. If the TCM detects BUS off signal in CPU, the DTC will be set.
