  The Electric Throttle Control (ETC) Actuator consists of the Throttle Control Motor, Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), etc. The actuator sends a signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM), and ECM sends signals to Transmission Control Module (TCM) with Controller Area Network (CAN) communication. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set when the Throttle Position Sensor does not respond from the TCM signal.
