P1738 Description

  The 2nd Clutch Pressure Switch is normally an open switch, the switch closes when the 2nd clutch oil press is applied to it. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) uses information from the switch to adjust hydraulic pressure application timing. The Powertrain Control Module monitors the 2nd Clutch Pressure Switch. The Powertrain Control Module will set the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) when it detects a 2nd Clutch Pressure Switch malfunction.
