P1A04 MERCURY Description
The Transmission Control Module (TCM) continuously monitors the Generator Shutdown (GSDN) circuit and the Controlled Area Network (CAN) signal for a GSDN request from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). This code is set when the PCM requests generator shutdown through the CAN signal or if there is a GSDN circuit fault. The generator inverter will be disabled.
