Table of contents

P1CC7 JEEP Possible Causes

  • Low Battery Charge
  • Faulty Transmission Controller Module (TCM)
  • Transmission Controller Module (TCM) harness is open or shorted
  • Transmission Controller Module (TCM) circuit poor electrical connection

How do I fix code P1CC7 JEEP?

Check the “Possible Causes” listed above. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connectors. Check for damaged components and look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded connector’s pins.

Cost of diagnosing the P1CC7 JEEP code

The cost of diagnosing the P1CC7 JEEP code is 1.0 hour of labor. The auto repair labor rates vary by location, your vehicle’s make and model, and even your engine type. Most auto repairs shops charge between $75 and $150 per hour.

Possible Symptoms

  • Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

P1CC7 JEEP Description

This diagnostic detects if the power supply to Main Micro Processor (MMP) is too low with three different tests relative to different vehicle operating conditions. The MMP power supply is tested outside the engine cranking mode (because in this condition a brief reduction of power supply may be possible). The first check: the Transmission Controller Module (TCM) compares the MMP power supply with minimum threshold values. When the actual value of power supply is below its minimum boundary the diagnostic will be considered failing. The second check: the TCM verifies the MMP power supply is not lower than a threshold for more than an amount of time after the engine cranking mode is finished plus a time delay. The third check: the TCM verifies the MMP power supply is not lower than a threshold for more than an amount of time after the engine cranking mode is finished plus a time delay only when the hydraulic pump is on for more than a time and the pump temperature is lower than a value.
