P1D6F HONDA Description
The generator motor is cooled by an automatic transmission fluid (ATF)-based oil cooling system and the Motor Control Module (Traction) obtains the ATF temperature and generator motor temperature signals. Normally, the generator motor temperature and the ATF temperature become nearly the same value immediately after the generator motor is started when it is sufficiently cooled down. The motor control module (traction) detects a malfunction and stores a DTC when the difference between the ATF temperature and the generator motor temperature immediately after the generator motor is started is equal to or more than the prescribed value for the prescribed time or more.
