P2108 JEEP Description
The throttle is moved by a bidirectional DC motor that responds to commands from Powertrain Control Module (PCM) based on inputs from Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS). The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set when the PCM has detected that the actual throttle position is not within the calibrated range of the calculated position. The vehicle may exhibit an extended cranking condition, limited performance, and a rough idle. One trip fault and the code will set within 5 seconds. The Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) light will flash.
