P2670 CHEVROLET Description
The Transmission Control Module (TCM) provides B+ to Shift Solenoid 1 (SS1), Shift Solenoid 2 (SS2), Shift Solenoid 3 (SS3), and Pressure Control Solenoid 2 (PCS2) through a separate solid-state device called High Side Driver 2 (HSD2). The TCM uses low side drivers to control the solenoids. This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when the HSD2 voltage is less than 6 V and the TCM detects a short to ground on 2 or more of the solenoids (SS1, SS2, SS3, or PCS2) connected to the HSD2.
