When powered, the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) tries to establish and maintain communication with the Impact/Pressure Sensors and validates expected input from sensors. This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when the ORC cannot verify the integrity of the wiring or sensor or is unable to maintain communication with the sensor. Once set, this DTC is locked for the entire ignition cycle. The DTC has to qualify again to reset on the next ignition cycle.
