B3669 PONTIAC Description

  S2 is the Rear Compartment Cylinder Extended Sensor. The Folding Top Control (FTC) module uses S2 to determine the position of the deck lid while in the reverse open position. S2 is a hall effect sensor that becomes active when the deck lid is in the reverse open position. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets if a short to ground, short to voltage, or open is detected on the signal circuit of S2.
