  S12 is part of the Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch – Front Hinge – Left assembly. The Folding Top Control (FTC) Module uses S12 to determine it the left front corner of the rear decklid is latched. S12 is closed and pulls the signal circuit low when the left front corner of the rear decklid is latched. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets if an open or short to ground is detected on the signal circuit of S12.
