B366E PONTIAC Description
S9 is part of the Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch – Front Hinge – Right assembly. The Folding Top Control (FTC) Module uses S9 to determine if the right side of the deck lid is in a reverse open position. S9 is closed and pulls the signal circuit low when the deck lid is in a reverse open position during top operation. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets if an open or short to ground is detected on the signal circuit of S9.
