S18 is part of the Folding Top Front Location Pin Guide – Left assembly. The Folding Top Control (FTC) Module uses S18 to determine if the headliner is latched at the left front of the header. S18 is closed and pulls the signal circuit low when the top is latched. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets if an open or a short to ground are present on the signal circuit of S18.
