U2101 FORD Description
At each power up the Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) reads the vehicle configuration data broadcast by the Body Control Module (BCM) and cross-checks it with the PSCM internally stored data. This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets if the PSCM receives invalid vehicle configuration data or if the central car configuration data does not match the equipment installed to the vehicle. This DTC can set if the vehicle is not configured for active park assist but the PSCM is receiving messages from the Parking Assist Control Module (PAM).
