Table of contents

U0155 ACURA Possible Causes

  • Faulty Gauge Control Module
  • Gauge Control Module harness is open or shorted
  • Gauge Control Module circuit poor electrical connection
  • Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

How do I fix code U0155 ACURA?

Check the “Possible Causes” listed above. Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connectors. Check for damaged components and look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded connector’s pins.

Cost of diagnosing the U0155 ACURA code

The cost of diagnosing the U0155 ACURA code is 1.0 hour of labor. The auto repair labor rates vary by location, your vehicle’s make and model, and even your engine type. Most auto repairs shops charge between $75 and $150 per hour.

When is the code detected

The U0155 code is set when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) does not receive any signals via the F-CAN lines for at least 1 second.

Possible Symptoms

  • Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

U0155 ACURA Description

The Controller Area Network (CAN) transmits/receives pulsing signals to/from the control modules simultaneously by using two signal lines (CANH and CANL). When the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) does not receive the signals from the Gauge Control Module via the F-CAN lines for a set time, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
